Channel Report Structure

Reports have a common structure; they contain a line graph and a table. Clicking on items from the table will take you to a nested report.

For example, a channel report has a table of all channels, clicking on one of the listed channels will let you see it's own line graph and a table of videos within that channel. You can then click on a video from the video table to see its own report.

Because of this hierarchy, the content in each report is explained in the rest of this article.

Channel

Line Graph

The line graph is not related to a specific channel but instead shows the daily views or clicks of all channels during a given time range .

Use the drop down to see Views or Clicks.

Hover your mouse at each day to see the total views or clicks.

Channel Table

The channel table lists the performance of each channel. You can see the number of views and clicks for each channel. Additionally, each channel has a Clickthrough Rate (CTR) which is the ratio of clicks to views (Clicks / Views = CTR).

Click the column titles Views or Clicks to sort the table in ascending or descending order. Use the search bar to locate a channel.

You can export the table as a CSV file for your records. Click the file icon next to the search bar

If you need to see more items on the table, use options at the bottom of the page.

Individual Channel Report

If you want to see a line graph of a specific channel and/ or the performance of all videos from that channel, click on a channel from the table.

Channel Line Graph

Once you enter an individual channel report you will see a line graph where you can see daily: Views, View Time, Clicks,  and Bandwidth of videos within that channel.

Use the drop down to select which metric you wish to see.

Video Table

The video table lists performance of each video within the chosen channel. Video performance is measured in:

  • Views - Counted when a video is played
  • Clicks - Counted when a user clicks on a call-to-action associated with the video
  • CTR - Clicks divided by views
  • Viewthrough Rate (VTR) - Percentage of video duration that was video, on average
  • Bandwidth - Amount of data transferred for uploaded video playback

You can sort the table in ascending or descending order by clicking the column titles named Views, Clicks, and Bandwidth. Use the search bar to find a video from the channel. Click the file export icon next to the search bar to export a CSV file of the table for your records. Finally, use the options at the bottom of the page to view more items on the table.
